Trouble in paradise…NFL player Kordell Stewart files for divorce from his new reality star wife Porche Stewart! The last few episodes have shown obvious issue in the couples marriage but divorce so soon? Well Porche return to RHOA next season…
Access Atlanta reports that Kordell Stewart has filed a petition for divorce from his wife of almost 2 years, Porsha Stewart. And he did so at Fulton County Court on March 22nd–AFTER the cast’s taping of the season 5 reunion. Kordell skipped out on the reunion show. As for why:
“Petitioner, after marrying respondent, a cast member on the “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” on May 21, 2011, is seeking divorce as the marriage is irretrievably broken.”
Perhaps being on the show helped the two see behind the smoke and mirrors. Porsha began to see Kordell for the man that he is (controlling and self-centered) and Kordell was able to see Porsha wants more than to being a trophy wife. Problem is she has no idea how to get there, poor girl! She is proof that money doesn’t solve everything. But on the bright side of things she may have made some alliances with women (the cast) that can motivate her to do her own thing.
Now earlier this week there were talks about Porsha not returning to the next season of RHOA because Kordell advised her not to. Well now that he is giving her her walking papers she may decide to stay on the show. She’s been a tad bit more vocal on twitter these days however she hasn’t shared a definite plan to return. This is Ms. Fnwrite saying I hope Porsha doesn’t turn into Sheree.

I really like porsha. I think she is beautiful. Kordell is mean and very controlling. She has big dreams and has great character. This is a blessing, I’m sure she knows they now. I’ll keep you in my prayers, your awesome Porsha! You will make a great mom and your so so beautiful!
