Shawty Lo’s reality show is a NO! Was it that the Oxygen Network wasn’t ready for the back slash or did they have an honest change of heart about the programming they choose to air? Will Bad Girls Club be discontinued? Probably not! Have your opinions but from what I saw of the “All My Baby Mama’s” trailer was a man doing the best he could with the situation he created. He made the bed and he’s lying in it sort of speak. It can be argued that the show was a platform for showing men with multiple children by multiple women how to take responsibility. This is Ms. FnWrite aka AP and I’m suggesting VH1 pick up the show!
Sabrina Lamb
The creator of the petition that successfully got Shawty Lo’s show cancelled is, Sabrina Lamb. She called the show a horrific example of life for a certain “group” of people.

“This show is about more than a rapper and his girlfriends. This is a show about kids who had no choice in how they came into the world. This show sets them up to be ridiculed and made fun of. None of us should be OK with that.’’

I am so happy about this being cancelled! I didn’t have to see a trailer all I had to hear was the title and a brief description from a friend to know that this was some strait crap. Another triflin’ addition to the repertoire of reality shows that depict black people in a negative light. I can’t deal with that. Love and Hip-hop is enough!
The show didnt take a loss. It was extinguished by a busy body seeking low hanging fruit. This Lamb character is a media publicity hound. Upon checking her FB page…there are no other efforts employed against the myriad of misjustices against children. She picked this “target” because there was no likely defense by the shows subjects. I will wager Shawty and family simply sat back and hoped this would blow over. So they could proceed with getting their payday.
It begs to question the financial position of he family. With that many children…Im sure the additional income could have been used. While this self righteous media whore is on the subject of whats good for the kids…how about the income. That certainly would have been.
I dont even like reality shows. NONE of them. They make my skin crawl. There is nothing real about them. Not to mention the shows let programmers off the hook. The programmers get content for a fraction of the production costs. While customers get a crappy product. I dont even care for is music. But those opinions are beside the prevailing point here.
If this self proclaimed protector of children really cares to protect children as a community…Lamb needs to back off a family who simply trying to support themselves. Then jump on some of the real tragedies that affect the children community as a whole. That is all.
