Who runs the world…GIRLS! Beyonce decides to rock a pair of earrings in support of Barack Obama and wouldn’t you know that decision changed designer Erika Peña’s life and bank account– as of last week only 5 sets of the handmade earrings were sold.
Beyonce wore the earrings last Saturday while in NYC and immediately sales hit the roof! Erika told TMZ, she’s sold over 1,300 PAIRS! Erika says she has sold earrings to people all over the world from England to Argentina. The earrings are priced at $32 a pair. Which means at the time of Erica’s interview with TMZ she had already made over $41,000!
