The twitter beef is now worthy of a dis track…rappers Azealia Banks and Jim Jones have opposing opinions on what exactly “Vamp Life”, represents and the difference in opinion has now ensued a female/male lyrical battle…well it’s not a battle until Jim responds, if he responds. The disagreement between this two Harlemites erupted on Twitter when Banks tweeted, “VAMP: a very sexually/financially powerful woman who is usually characterized by a penchant for dark things; nighttime [and] witchcraft.” Jones took offense and wrote back “tht vamplife is contagious” to which she responded that “vamp s— is some fashion stuff as well[,] in case u didn’t know,” followed by “don’t be tryna take no credit Holmes.” Azealia decided to take a stance saying…“This n—-’s a girl, you want diamonds and pearls / Designer clothes, attention, and stares / You’re a man though, why would you care,” she barks. “It takes a Harlem b—- to execute a Harlem b—- / You pop s—, I pop s—, no problem b—-.”
Just when you thought the dis track was enough for attention seeking sake Ms. Banks isn’t done! The photograph shown above was taken for the cover of this months, “Dazed & Confused”, a British Fashion magazine. Azealia tweeted her excitement to be on the cover of two magazines this month (which includes VIBE); however, in true Azealia form there is controversy behind the cover. The August cover has been banned in 6 countries. Azealia isn’t fazed as the cover has been viewed by many via the internet. The picture and telegraph are pretty clever! The rapper seems to be making a name for herself or at least creating an image…her beef with T.I., Kreayshawn and now Jim Jones is opening the eyes and ears of the masses. Oh and this crafty cover will open mouths.
